I cannot believe you're going to Kyrgyzstan!! You're going to love it :) And the people are friendlier than their neighbors (Uzbeks) and it's more beautiful ;) Also, if you're site is on the West side of Kyrgyzstan, you'll be just a stone's throw away from where we lived in the Ferghana Valley! (And you might meet some Uzbek refugees from the massacre in Andijon in 2005 - could be good material ;)
